About the Role
An ASX-listed retailer is seeking an experienced Fractional CMO to provide senior marketing leadership during a period of strategic transition. This is a 3-day-per-week engagement with scope to increase. The right person will bring executive presence, a growth mindset, and deep familiarity with omnichannel retail.
What You'll Do
- Set and steward the marketing strategy across brand, performance, and loyalty
- Lead and align an existing marketing team of six during the transition period
- Advise the CEO and board on brand positioning and channel investment
- Oversee agency relationships and hold them accountable to outcomes
- Identify and scope a permanent CMO hire as the engagement matures
About You
- 10+ years senior marketing leadership, including CMO or GM Marketing experience
- Background in retail, omnichannel, or consumer brands
- Comfortable operating as a fractional leader — autonomous and outcomes-focused
- Available for 3 days per week, with flexibility around key business moments
The Package
Day rate negotiable based on experience. Remote-first with monthly Sydney CBD in-person sessions. Immediate start preferred.
