About the Role

An ASX-listed retailer is seeking an experienced Fractional CMO to provide senior marketing leadership during a period of strategic transition. This is a 3-day-per-week engagement with scope to increase. The right person will bring executive presence, a growth mindset, and deep familiarity with omnichannel retail.

What You'll Do

  • Set and steward the marketing strategy across brand, performance, and loyalty
  • Lead and align an existing marketing team of six during the transition period
  • Advise the CEO and board on brand positioning and channel investment
  • Oversee agency relationships and hold them accountable to outcomes
  • Identify and scope a permanent CMO hire as the engagement matures

About You

  • 10+ years senior marketing leadership, including CMO or GM Marketing experience
  • Background in retail, omnichannel, or consumer brands
  • Comfortable operating as a fractional leader — autonomous and outcomes-focused
  • Available for 3 days per week, with flexibility around key business moments

The Package

Day rate negotiable based on experience. Remote-first with monthly Sydney CBD in-person sessions. Immediate start preferred.
